ResQ is a leading full-service provider of safety training and crisis preparedness expertise in Norway. ResQ operates five safety centers strategically located along the Norwegian coast and a crisis preparedness center to meet the training and consultancy needs, offering an impressive portfolio of over 70 courses. The crisis preparedness center provides a comprehensive range of emergency services, from 24/7 standby teams and notification services for operator and drilling companies, customers in the oil, maritime, and other industries, to personnel care, second and third-line emergency support, as well as the training and delivery of a variety of customized courses. ResQ has a team of over 60 full-time employees and more than 300 part-time staff spread across the country.
In the summer of 2022, it was announced that ResQ AS was acquired by Maersk Training, a globally recognized player in training and competence development across multiple sectors, including offshore, maritime, oil and gas, and land-based industries. Maersk Training is a part of the A.P. Moller - Maersk Group, one of the world's largest and most influential transport and logistics companies.
Starting in October 2023, ResQ will officially rebrand itself as Maersk Training following the acquisition. Our exciting journey as Maersk Training begins with the first step - a transformation of our visual identity. From now on, we welcome you to Maersk Training at safety centers throughout Norway, our crisis preparedness center, and in the digital realm, where the color red is replaced with blue.
We will continue to operate as a distinct unit, now known as Safety, Survival, and Technical (SST). This new arrangement opens up numerous exciting opportunities for our customers. Crisis preparedness becomes a new area for Maersk Training, and Well Control courses delivered by the simulation division become a new addition for us.
