Target Group
This course is designed for workers who perform tasks at height and use fall protection equipment as part of their daily work – both onshore and offshore. It is especially relevant for companies operating in offshore-related and industrial environments.
Regulatory Requirements
The Norwegian Labour Inspection Authority (ATIL) and the Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (HAVTIL) require documented training for employees who use fall protection equipment. This is stipulated in the "Regulations on organization, management, and employee participation," Chapter 8 § 8-1, which places the responsibility for necessary training on the employer.
About the Course
This course provides both theoretical knowledge and practical training in the use of fall protection equipment. It is conducted in accordance with the guidelines of NOG 113, developed for work in the offshore industry and other demanding environments.
The training combines technical knowledge with realistic exercises to ensure that participants are equipped to work safely and effectively at height.

Participants who complete and pass the course will receive a certificate in accordance with NOG 113.
