Dangerous goods by air

Content

The course will provide the awareness training required when dealing with the

transport of dangerous goods by air and includes awareness training in all aspects as

required by the ICAO Technical Instructions table 1.4 and the International Air Transport

Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Training Guidance.

Learning objectives

At the end of the course, you will be able to:

· Define, identify, and classify dangerous goods

· Identify legislation and regulations relevant to transport of dangerous goods by Air

· Demonstrate knowledge of requirements for shipping dangerous goods by air, including packing and packing groups, labelling, and required documentation

· Identify requirements for loading, storage, and segregation

· Identify emergency procedures and apply knowledge on how to use them

Assessment criteria

The course is concluded with a multiple-choice exam with 25 questions. You require a

minimum score of 80% to pass.

You will have three months to complete the course.
