This course is an e‑learning version of the theoretical FSE Low and High Voltage module.
After completing this course, practical training will still be required in order to obtain a full and valid certificate.

Participant Requirements
Relevant electrical background, including a trade certificate such as automation technician, electrician Class L, electrical installer, power line technician, or switchboard builder, or a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in an electrical discipline.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the course, the participant shall be able to demonstrate acquired knowledge, apply work methods, and recognize:
- Roles, responsibilities, and authority within electrical installations
- How to select and use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Measurement principles for measuring instruments, risks of incorrect measurements, and selection and use of equipment based on the nature of the work
- Hazards and compliance with the internal control system
- Work methods applicable to work on and operation of low- and high-voltage electrical installations
- Emergency situations, the need for controlled descent, and principles of rescue and emergency equipment
- The extent of electrical injuries, take responsibility, initiate actions, alert emergency services, and explain assessment of consciousness and breathing, as well as CPR procedures and recovery position
