Target Group

Personnel who will be travelling by helicopter in the UK sector.

Our Instructors

Our experienced instructors have extensive industry experience and create a safe environment during practical exercises.

Are there any other considerations we should be aware of regarding you? If so, please inform us in advance so we can take extra good care of you when you arrive at the center.

Content

The course is delivered in accordance with OPITO guidelines for the UK sector.

Personnel flying helicopters in the UK sector must have received training on the Compressed Air Emergency Breathing System (CA-EBS) Initial Deployment according to new 

• Introduction
• Differences between breathing systems
• How to use compressed air in an emergency situation
• Hazards of using compressed air
• Practical use of the breathing system
• How to deploy the life jacket

Language

We deliver this course both in Norwegian and in English. If there is a british flag with the course, that means that it is in English. The others are in Norwegian.
 

Upon Completion

Participants will have basic knowledge and skills on how to:

• Inspect the life jacket and CA-EBS
• Deploy the life jacket
• Exit a helicopter using the CA-EBS system

Course Location

Courses are offered at our locations in Stavanger, Bergen, Haugesund, Kristiansund, and Grimstad.

Preferred date and location can be selected from the course list.

Payment Options

Payment for the course is made upon registration or at attendance. We also offer payment via Vipps or invoice.

Attendance

All our courses start at 08:30 unless otherwise stated in the course confirmation.
