ResQ has for many years been established in Kristiansund. Center manager Jan Erik Rolland is now looking forward to being able to upgrade the premises to ResQ. The agreements are in place after many years of work with plans for both Dale Industrial Park and Melkvika Nøringspark.
Like all our centers, our center in Kristiansund offers a wide range of safety and emergency preparedness training. In Kristiansund, maritime courses aimed at the oil and gas industry, maritime industry and land-based industry are the main industries for ResQ.
Kristiansund is a good location as we have visitors from all over central Norway. With this new location, ResQ look forward to participating in a renewal of an older industrial area to a new business park that will be central in Kristiansund.
ResQ has a strong environmental focus and with our new sustainability policy, we always bring an environmental perspective into such projects. Efforts are being made to put in place a sunboat approach for the work route via Melkevika. We hope this will be possible and that it can help simplify public transport and environmentally friendly modes of travel get our employees and visitors to ResQ.
